Bit cloudy today but dry and warm. I had a quick look around Bergerac which is not very impressive these days. All the action seems to be on the roads leading in and out of town. Bit like down town USA. Jarring considering how beautiful my trip along the Dordorgne has been. It’s definitely the Cotswolds en France as the photos show.
I couldn't let Coux et Bigaroque pass me by so diverted to the village but resisted driving up to Chateau de Cazenac.
Now arrived at a town called Les Eyzies. Home of the National Pre-History Museum. Landscape is extraordinary. I’m staying on another Camping Car Park. This organisation has taken over a lot of The Aire de Service sites. They charge more for them but have introduced more facilities. Power and even toilets in some of them. Average about €12 per night which includes power.
