Lyon’s La Foret
I have arrived. Booked for one night but might stay two. I’m only about 230kms from Calais now.
I started to see a bit of panic buying going on at the fuel stations, but mainly in the bigger towns I passed through. Several cars and vans queuing. I waited until I could get a reasonable amount in the tank and filled up again at the first opportunity. Put about €25 in. Now full to the brim. At a push it should get me home to Stratford from here.
Site looks nice, beside a small river and apparently one of the plus belle villages in France. Dating back to Norman times. Didn’t look that special driving through to get to the campsite but I’m hoping there is more to it once I manage to explore. Stay tuned !
