Blere

Just arrived in Blere, between Tours and Blois. I woke up this morning to quite a frost. It’s decidedly colder as I move up north, but it’s been quite sunny most of the day. I did my first fuel fill up today since leaving Spain. Last fill up in Spain just before I crossed the border I paid €1.80/litre. Today in France it cost me €2.97. Seems diesel is quite a bit more expensive than petrol also, which never used to be the case in France. That’s a big difference though eh!!
Camping Carpark I’m on is super, only 9 pitches- I booked ahead. It’s right next to what looks like a municipal campsite but according to the reviews for this place it’s been closed for some time. It doesn’t loot at all run down though in fact quite the opposite. Driving through the town it looks very nice. Heading off shortly to have my now customary walk about!
