Leaving Barcelona

So, I tackled the traffic through Barcelona to reach the “gold star” Fiat service centre (according to  ChatGPT). It was massive, servicing the whole of the Selantis stable of vehicles. Give you an idea how big it was, they route you through the workshop to get to the parking, yes there was a two way road going right through the middle of the workshop area- it was very disorientating, I expected someone to stop me and shout what the hell was I doing there, but no, it spat me out to a massive parking area o. The other side of the building. I parked up and found my way to reception, which the the size a a small shopping mall!
Suffice to say they couldn’t help me and o couldn’t find anyone who could speak English, imagine that.
I realise now I will probably get more luck in a small town with a local garage repair shop.
Anyway, I left the Selantis place and as I hit the road again the warning lights went off!
Then they came back on again a few mikes down the road!
I made my way out of Barcelona which was no mean feat and headed to a campsite near Tarragona which claimed to be open but when I got there the guy said they weren’t open. In fact camsite within a twenty mile radius of the coast is open until April , so I’ve decided to head towards Zaragoza now. I was intending to visit here anyway just not planning to drive this far today. But hey ho, see what tomorrow brings!
Had a lovely meet up with Jen last night. She took me to this lovely Vegan restaurant. Shame it was closed! 😂. She quickly recovered the situation though and found a smashing vegan tapas restaurant and we luckily snook in there as they were turning people away behind us. We had a lovely meal and quite a lot of exercise walking around Barcelona.
