Barcelona

So I left Sitges around lunchtime and after going through the routine grey water / black water servicing I headed off in the direction of Barcelona , a journey of about 60 miles just over an hour. Within a couple of miles down the motorway the ASR warning light appeared again quickly followed by the ABS warning light - these are warnings, orange in colour and they are there for information, indicating you have an issue but unlike a red warning which usually means STOP, an orange requires a certain consideration depending on your circumstances. In my situation I could also detect an odd noise - now in this van I am used to hearing odd noises for all sorts of reasons I won’t bore you with.
So my circumstances were pretty limiting as I was heading towards a tunnel, one of several I was about to discover leading me towards Barcelona. The brakes seemed to be working ok and power wasn’t an issue and within a mile or two the noise disappeared. 😅 I ploughed on. Fortunately the sat nav was as good as gold and led me towards Barcelona and my secure parking area and the chap came out of the office to greet me, with a “welcome Harry, I’ll lead you to your parking space!”
I was relieved of course but pretty hot and bothered.
I’m here for a couple of nights now so I’m going to chill, enjoy my time in this wonderful city and think about my options. Suffice to say I’ve made some enquiries, I’ve consulted ChatGPT, which is incredibly useful and I’ve phoned a friend for a second opinion.
There will be more to report in due course, now for a metro ride and a look around The Segrada Familia.
It’s a truly awesome site to behold as you approach
